Logistics & transport

# The journey is complete. The paperwork should follow.

Email requests, carrier updates and delivery documents need to describe the same shipment. We connect those steps so operators can see which tasks remain open.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

## From delivery to a file ready for administration

[Source for this section](https://stolenorbit.com/en/industries/logistics-transport/#workflow-heading)

A shipment shows as delivered, but proof of delivery arrives later, with a different reference or a note about damage.

1. ### Match the document

We look up the approved reference in the transport system and link the document. Duplicates and uncertain matches do not close a shipment.

2. ### Surface exceptions

An unreadable document, missing package, absent signature or delivery reservation is flagged for the operator rather than recorded as a clean delivery.

3. ### Prepare the handover

The approved file moves to administration. Missing documents generate a draft request for the correct contact, with a history of previous requests.

This workflow describes a possible project, not a customer case study or a result already achieved.

WHAT WE START WITH

## The things to establish first.

- Shipment, order and carrier identifiers.
- Reliable system statuses and rules for closing a file.
- Examples of readable, duplicate and qualified delivery documents.

YOUR TEAM STAYS IN CONTROL

### Decisions have an owner.

Reservations, claims, liability and authorisation to invoice remain with the operator.

An old update or unconfirmed estimate is never presented as a guaranteed arrival time.

THE FIRST SCOPE

## A workflow we can verify.

One delivery workflow and a small group of carriers. The first automation prepares the document file; it does not change dispatch or driving decisions.

### What we measure together

- Completed shipments still missing documentation.
- Time from document arrival to administrative review.

AFTER LAUNCH

## The work continues. So does the care.

We monitor document queues, failed connections and new carrier formats. Periodic checks cover duplicates and reconciliation between systems, so a repeated message does not produce two tasks or invoices.

WHEN AN EARLIER STEP MATTERS

If references change without a shared mapping, establish shipment identification first. This integration does not replace certified platforms or transport compliance processes.

## Before we start.

**Is this an eFTI platform?**

No. This example concerns an internal document workflow. Any regulated information exchange needs a separate check of the platform and requirements applicable to the project.

**Can it answer shipment-status questions?**

Yes, where an authorised, current source exists. Questions without a verified answer go to the operator with the shipment reference.

## Which step would you like to make easier?

A description and a contact address are enough. You can add tools, volumes and constraints in the form if you wish.
